Survey Cone Adapter B60

The Cone Adapter B60 is designed for the precise measurement of the axis position of circular objects, such as boreholes, bolts, bolt heads, and nuts. It is an essential tool for achieving accurate measurements in various surveying and industrial applications.

Key Features and Functions

Versatile measurement: the Cone Adapter B60 determines the position of both vertically drilled holes and vertically inserted bolts. Depending on the requirement, the adapter can be rotated 180° to suit the specific measurement need.

Determining the centre of boreholes

• Insert the Ø12 mm stainless steel axis pin with a prism into the cone adapter.
• Place the adapter over the drill hole.
• Use the circular level to ensure perpendicular alignment.
• Conduct the measurement.

Determining the centre and height of bolts / cylinders

• Insert the Ø12 mm axis pin with a prism into the cone adapter.
• Position the adapter on the bolt or cylinder.
• Use the circular level to set the adapter perpendicular.
• Conduct the measurement.

Measurement considerations: the length of the axis pin (40 mm) and the height (H) of the prism and adapter must be added to the measured Z coordinate to obtain the accurate position.

Additional Features

• Construction: made of anodized aluminum, providing durability and lightweight handling.
• Magnetic hold: three integrated magnets keep the cone adapter securely attached to magnetic parts.
• Axial bore: a Ø12 mm axial bore for the axis pin.
• Circular level compatibility: recesses on both sides accommodate an optional circular level, keeping the unit perpendicular during measurements.

Circular Level “Integral”

If the prism or carrier lacks an integrated circular level, the Circular Level “Integral” can be mounted on either side of the Cone Adapter B60. This ensures the entire unit is perfectly perpendicular, enhancing measurement accuracy.

• Attaches to all our ball bases with a thread connection

Axis pin M8, without flange

For quick, frequent switching between measuring drill holes and bolts — the axis pin is inserted into the cone adapter from one side or the other depending on the application.
