Tool for Measurement of Pipe Axes
Comprehensive Measurement Tools for Pipe Axes
1. Tool for Measurement of Cylinder Axes
This tool, known as the Apex, is designed for precise total station measurement of cylinder axes, such as those in shafts, rollers, tubes, pipes and rolls.
Measurement Methods:
- Apex Placement at Cylinder Apex: Uses a tube level to position the Apex at the cylinder's apex, aligning the prism center with the cylinder axis.
- Three-Point Measurement: Measures three points (A, B, C) sequentially to determine the center point (OZM) in the cylinder axis plane.
Features:
- Material: Anodized aluminum for cylinders Ø 60 to 2000 mm.
- Attachment Mechanism: Permanent magnets for magnetic steel cylinders; eyelets for non-magnetic cylinders.
- Positioning Aids: Two tubular levels for precise positioning.
- Probe Mechanism: Movable probe with spring pressure, fixed position with wing screw.
- Dimensions: 140 x 45 x 38 mm; probe height: 45 mm; weight (without prism): 178 g.
2. Revolver Base M8
The Revolver Base M8 is a compact, versatile base designed for use with ball prisms Ø1.5” (38.1 mm). Despite its smaller size compared to standard bases, it provides reliable support and flexibility in various applications.
Key Features:
- Base Dimensions: Ø27 x 10 mm, made from orange anodized aluminum.
- Thread: M8 x 6 mm external thread in stainless steel.
- Design: Includes a knurl for secure screwing and unscrewing.
- Distance: From base bottom to ball/prism center: 20 mm and 25 mm ± 0.1 mm.
-
Magnetic Holding Force: Ø1.5" (38.1 mm) ball prisms: approx. 0.3 kg.
- Weight: 18 g.
- Usage: Not compatible with centering plates.
These tools provide comprehensive solutions for precise 3D measurements, supporting various surveying and industrial applications with high accuracy and reliability.
