RTK GNSS & Survey Accessories rental from Latnet
Peak season, a second crew, or a job outside your usual area — renting survey-grade GPS equipment covers the gap without adding another receiver to the books. You get the same CHCNAV GNSS gear we sell and support, set up and ready to work.
The iBase + i89 kit includes the HCE600 controller running LandStar 8, so your crew can start collecting and staking points on day one. Inside Latnet CORS coverage you can work rover-only over NTRIP; elsewhere, pair the iBase with the Pacific Crest UHF radio for corrections where there is no cell signal.

Why rent from Latnet
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a base station or can I use CORS?
Inside Latnet CORS coverage you can work with the i89 rover alone using NTRIP corrections over cellular. Outside coverage, or where there is no cell signal, set up the iBase as your own base and broadcast corrections over UHF radio.
What controller and software are included?
The iBase + i89 kit ships with the CHCNAV HCE600 field controller running LandStar 8 for data collection, stakeout and coordinate system setup.
Will the rental work with my coordinate system?
Yes. LandStar 8 supports Canadian datums and projections, including NAD83(CSRS) and UTM / 3TM zones. Our team can help configure your project before the equipment ships.
Can I use the Latnet CORS network with the rental?
Yes. Latnet operates its own CORS RTK correction network covering parts of Alberta. If your project is inside coverage, you can use NTRIP corrections without setting up a base station; we confirm coverage and include credentials with the rental.
What is the minimum rental period?
The minimum rental is 3 days. Rentals of 3–6 days use the short-term daily rate; from 7 days the lower weekly rate applies automatically.
Do you ship rental equipment outside Alberta?
Yes. We ship across Canada, including British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Ontario and Quebec. Local pickup is available at our Calgary location, and shipping is included in your quote.
How fast can you dispatch?
Confirmed rentals are dispatched within 24 hours, and morning bookings often ship the same day. Booking a few days ahead is recommended to confirm availability.
Who covers damage during the rental?
The renter is responsible for damage, loss or theft during the rental period and must carry insurance for the full replacement value before the equipment ships. Most clients use their existing contractor's all-risk or equipment floater policy.
