Mobile LiDAR & Bathymetric rental from Latnet
Vehicle-mounted mobile LiDAR and autonomous bathymetric boats are high-value systems that most firms only need a few times a year. Renting lets you bid and deliver road, utility and waterbody projects without the capital outlay.
The AU20 captures dense 3D point clouds of roads, highways and infrastructure at driving speed. The Apache 3 USV maps lake, pond, river and reservoir beds with a single-beam echosounder — ideal for volume calculations, dredging and hydrographic surveys. Optional training and data services are available with either system.

Why rent from Latnet
Frequently asked questions
Is the AU20 priced weekly?
Yes. The AU20 mobile mapping system is rented on weekly terms only, and pricing is quoted per project. Contact us with your dates and project scope for a quote.
What does the Apache 3 USV rental include?
The Apache 3 rental includes the boat, EC10 remote controller, single-beam echosounder, four batteries with charger and a transport hard case. An iBase base station and i89 rover can be added for RTK positioning.
Do you offer training or data processing?
Yes. Optional services range from a quick online training session to finished deliverables processed by our team. Add them when you book.
Can I use the Latnet CORS network with the rental?
Yes. Latnet operates its own CORS RTK correction network covering parts of Alberta. If your project is inside coverage, you can use NTRIP corrections without setting up a base station; we confirm coverage and include credentials with the rental.
What is the minimum rental period?
The minimum rental is 3 days. Rentals of 3–6 days use the short-term daily rate; from 7 days the lower weekly rate applies automatically.
Do you ship rental equipment outside Alberta?
Yes. We ship across Canada, including British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Ontario and Quebec. Local pickup is available at our Calgary location, and shipping is included in your quote.
How fast can you dispatch?
Confirmed rentals are dispatched within 24 hours, and morning bookings often ship the same day. Booking a few days ahead is recommended to confirm availability.
Who covers damage during the rental?
The renter is responsible for damage, loss or theft during the rental period and must carry insurance for the full replacement value before the equipment ships. Most clients use their existing contractor's all-risk or equipment floater policy.
